Also note that FP1 is MICRO-management while FP2 is MACRO-management. These are two different things.
frost2 is something else, good game, but the soul is different
I dont like sandbox type games where no real goals present, I just need to enteratain myself...
First time I played it, I didn't even read up on a beginner's guide beforehand! I just applied what I learned in college to get through all the chapters, and never got a game over!
(Note: I played this game at Officer Difficulty, so maybe I got off too easy. I may try playing at Steward difficulty next to test if these same teachings may still apply)
The relatively many negative reviews for FP2 are there because they expected it to top FP1. That is however not possible. FP1 is one of the most amazing gems in gaming history.
Its one of those rare games that hits you deeply with its superb atmosphere. Like Diablo 1 and FF7, this one too will be remembered for decades to come.
So go play it !
