Frostpunk 2

Frostpunk 1886 thoughts.
So after all, They hear the voices of all of us.
We are officially going back on Frostpunk 1.
Never thought that 1886 around Generator in the symmetrical circles would be so nostalgic to me.
The beginning of everything is back!
We will build piece by piece New London once again.

Questions around:

-The crater of New London can be now as the Frostpunk 2? Such we have bigger side of how the crater looks like.

-Winterhome City would have the rocks and the rift down as the map view of Frostpunk 2?

-We will be able to open finally the Generator on The Last Autumn after we finish the construction?

-Is that a remastered or also new part of it?

To me, this looks like an attempt to milk a little more against the backdrop of the negativity of the second part.

That's not reasonable. It's legitimate for them to return to their roots.

Maybe but it's good they are acknowledging what their fans want. They experimented with Frostpunk 2, gotta give them credit for trying but I think the masses agree they want more of the Frostpunk 1 experience. Maybe we will see it again in a third instalment or they'll try something entirely new, time will tell

The view of the maps are not anymore the same. The crater in Frostpunk 2 which is the New London have rifts for example, while the crater of Frostpunk 1 have not. Same with Winterhome, Winterhome map is not the same with the Winterhome style in FP1. I mean if the maps will be from now based on the FP2. For me FP2 maps style make more sense now.

Of course not. Even if they made it larger, they are not even remotely the same scale.

But it has to be...that's what I mean.
The Hanging Rock. In Frostpunk 1 Winterhome map has the same with New London just largest. Winterhome map in FP2 is beautiful. I'm not saying the whole map, that would be impossible. But there is a whole deep hole down of Generator on Winterhome map on FP2. That's something more nice.

I have been saying this from the start. They listen to the community. FP2 have a lot of community requests that could not be implemented in FP1.

As for this:

"Moreover, scouts report that the arrival of Spring shall bring significant developments for the people of New London. They have also urged the Administration to observe a day of reflection on April 24th, in honor of the seventh anniversary of our first great expedition—an endeavor once guided by a departed leader of unwavering resolve."

I guess we now know what they meant. Lol.

To those who think FP2 will be abandoned. I highly doubt it and see this as 11bit way to start the hype for FP3. In time, we will find out what exactly the gameplay will be like for FP3 and whether everyone will like it.

But for now though, I believe the scouts will continue towards the Spectrum and Aurora DLC's in 2025 and will find their way to the 3rd DLC in 2026.

Besides, we are talking for almost 2 years later. We are just in the beginning of Frostpunk 2. Let's enjoy it. As I love Frostpunk 1 I really love Frostpunk 2 too.
