The game used to remind me of snowpiercer.....??
I think something a lot of people miss from the FP1 days are the dystopian snowpiercer like feel that the game had, mostly fueled by the impact of the cold on workers, making them amputees. in the days of FP1, you made choices early on that would define how radically you preformed life saving treatments, saving more lives, but at the cost of limbs, trust, and available workers.

Later you could research prosthetics, get those workers back, and even upgrade them to a type of APEX worker.

As small as it might seem, reintroducing something like that would have a huge impact on people's views of the game. We all basically miss being able to make automatons and cyborgs.... Just being real....

That still happens, it's just a common occurrence now, since the Captain already established prosthetics.

Mass Produced Goods has a chance of triggering a Mass Produced Prosthetics.
Efficiency Bonuses event shows that a guy with picks for hands is "unfairly" earning more than those with normal hands.
Evolvers' Enhance Workers is prosthetics taken to the extreme.
Triage is available form the start at any Hospital.

I agree Automatons should be a common sight, especially since you should have a lot of them by the end of FP1, and you find some pretty powerful ones in the Frostland here (FP1 automatons would replace up to 20 workers, FP2 automatons can be worth up to 1200). And you can make an Automation Factory later on, But I've yet to see one in the city. It'd be doubly nice to be able to see them even without zooming in.

Though apparently you can see them fight in the Fighting Hub?

And I'm not sure when Cyborgs were made in FP1.

Interesting. Ive seen a few Automatons, but as far as i can tell, i'v yet to have any amputees.

I think you have to repair them in the frost-land to have any at your main city.

Id like to see more of an impact of for exploring the frost land. Sure, people die, people get sick, it impacts your trust, but ive yet to have anyone come back with frostbite, costing them limbs and me workers.

And i hear ya with the idea that its logic is just an extension of FP1, but the fact that you need to research such basics like adaptive fuels, or a hospital, just means to me your basically relearning everything.
