Possible that it is to complex to create own maps, but it should be possible to create own Tech-Tree, Events, Navpoints in Frostland, custom story elements, ....

Naw given the grid system they have it would be relatively easy to make a tool (and in fact they likely have one fore development that lets you map it out or even make a RNG map.

It would take time that could go elsewhere too not to mention the potentiality of bugs that would introduce.

Mod support would really be appreciated and for me it would be a big argument for buying the game.
Thinking of all the quality of life improvements the first game could have had. Not to mention custom scenarios

Frostpunk’s technical limitations make it difficult to offer mod support, but now Frostpunk 2 could be mod-friendly.

Mod support make it so the game actually has replay value. Normal frost punk has 0 replay value.
