I finished sotry 2 times, and on the first playtrhough she wasmissing a hand and was tattered by frost, as I didn't do a good job on managing cold and desease during the playthrough (and had a big amount of homless people). On my second playthrough she wasperfectly fine and look healthy, calm as I had no issues in my city, I even managed to strike a peace deal in the end, but failed to protect people in one of the discritcs where the war broke out, so there was also text that her mother died in the civil war, but she's hopeful about her future.
She seemed healthy, was an apprentice bookbinder but i failed to protect all the citizens and her mother died in the civil war
However, if I could kindly ask Praetorian - the OP to add [SPOILERS] warning in the title, that'd make me even happier. :D
❤️
I tried to get the peaceful ending. But after 2 hours where I could not figure out what was wrong I gave up and restarted chapter 5. I stopped the fighting, I negotiated peacedeal, 3 out of 4 was golden in trust and the last one not far off. The only buildings left was research buildngs, housing block and some prodction buildings, I also demolsihed the guard station in the dreadnought and Winterhome was no longer available. It would be nice if the game told you WHY the option to finish it was not available. I played for a long time trying to change laws blindly, but nothing worked, so I finally gave up on the peacefull ending. The way it's no it seems too buggy and random, when you have no way of knowing what the problem is.
was the peace deal hard to do? i did try my best to pretty much satisfy both factions but the stalwarts being angry because i colonized winterhome didnt help and they spiraled down. their laws arent really that good either so promises to them wouldnt hold up in my run.
also i heard from other people's run there are different factions? i wonder what triggers it
Lily May, 14, Scout trainee
Learns a new trade
From her mother.
Reveres the steward
for keeping the city together.
And even as life is harsh
her head is full of dreams
All things considered I think she made out pretty well with the fact that I was the one steering the ship, honestly kind of amazing I finished I was like a week off from losing lol.
Embrace the Frost
Resettling Winterhome
Banishing Stalwarts to Windmar Moor
For some reason Windmar Moor's condition is labelled "poor" despite me making the colony self-sufficient and stockpiling 100.000 units of coal.
My Lily May was an adept seer separated from her mother, huffing incensed oil to not dream of her, will travel the Frostland paths but never find peace. Afterwards I got the "Maybe you are lying to yourself? Isn't every utopia somebody else's dystopia?"
My first playthrough I played on Steward Difficulty. I was Pro-Stalwart and Anti-Everyone else. Banished Pilgrims (they were less than 10%) but they all left on their own accord in “peace and order” as the game mentioned. Conditions on Windmoor was acceptable and the colony survived for years. Completed it in 600+ weeks
Lily was healthy and seen carrying a purse of some kind:
[/spoiler] LILY MAY, 14, ADEPT SEERESS LEFT FOR THE COLONY WITH HER MOTHER
ASHAMED SHE YEARNS
FOR THE COMFORT OF DAILY ROUTINE FOR AS LONG THE FROST WHISPERS
TO FORGET SHE WILL WALK THE ICE
My second playthrough I played on Captain Difficulty. Again I was Pro-Stalwart but tried to maintain at least neutral relations with Frostlanders and New Londoners. Didn’t care about pilgrims again (they were like 1% of population in this run).
Lily was healthy but had a knife in her hand:
LILY MAY, 14, ADEPT SEERESS CONTAINED WITH HER MOTHER SMUGGLES FOOD INTO THE DISTRICT
CONSTANTLY THINKS ABOUT THE WELFARE OF HER PÉOPLE AND HOW TO DESTROY THE WALLS-OF THE ENCLAVE
MAYBE ONE DAY
SHE WILL SUCCEED?
Overall my Captain playthrough was SIGNIFICANTLY better than and I even unlocked the “Paradise City” achievement and “People’s Person” during this run which was really surprising for me. Completed it in much faster at 410 weeks.
