Can't move enough resources between old dreadnaught and new england

I'm playing through the game again and set the generator up to use only oil but I can't get enough oil from the old dreadnaught, I can get about half of what I need and supplement most of the rest with coal liquifiers but I'm still coming up way short when bad weather hits and I've got tons of surplus oil at the dreadnaught.

I thought maybe building the attended freight dock would help out but no it does nothing that I can tell.

Is there a building or function that I'm missing that will allow me to transfer more resources?

I got through this by having two frieght dock and the skyway

I think I could transfer 900+ worth of stuff over

Ugh I'm an idiot, I built the freight dock but I never built a skyway connection between the dreadnaught and new england

the skyways are a little odd, if they could go up/down hills better it would make more sense but for the most part they are forced to follow the same, or nearly the same, rout as the roads. I wish you could just upgrade a road instead of needing to re-map a rail

I'm having the same issue :( funny thing is I didn't have this issue before the patch days ago.

Build a skyway if not already done. Build freight docks if not already done. You can go to 900+ units transported with that.

I don't understand the reason for skyway upgrades at all. With them you can set up the automatic delivery of stuff. But if the amount is not enough you can simply click on the "5k" symbol next to the slider and instantly transfer as much as you like. Transport amount upgrades just save you the trouble of clicking the symbol every few minutes.

I always take the one providing other benefits regarding production.
