I had no options for that, they just hunted them until it was dry and lost forever. Only infinite food source on overworld is the whales which grants you 100 food ?
That is why that guy say 2 infinite node is not enough.
And I tend to agree. Fuel and Food are a bottle neck even with 6 advance fracturing pumjack. On the cdolonies.
Only material can be managed thanks to building like recast factories and more.
Heat may be managed with adaptation skill zeitgeist which reduce heat needs.
But food.... their is not much.
I finished my captain game, and heat and food was the only main problem. But with enough trust and tension management, you finish the game early enough before heat and famine does its damage.
And in Utopia, those or not a problem
I suppose this is gonna be captain hindsight, but if you dont destroy your exhausted food districts you can still keep using them for food houses.
Nothing makes sense.
You want resources? Go colonize.
You want research? You have sh*t-stains for factions each trying to "build the city in my sh*tty image".
Who the f*ck has time to bicker over such stuff in the apocalypse? "NO AUTOMATION". "YES AUTOMATION". "COMMUNISM". "CAPITALISM". "MY WAY". "THE HIGHWAY". How about, "F*CK ALL OF YOU SHUT THE F*CK UP OR DIE".
Instead of a complementary system of ideas we get this american election theater bullsh*t in a f*cking game right now.
WTF is there a council for?
WTF are heatstamps?
You lack workforce because you build houses? Housing districts need workforce?
The UI tells you f*ck all because everything needs to be aggregated behind something because the system is bloated with politics.
Did a politician consult during the making of this?
How do you get something so right the first time, then take the momentum from that and go full throttle into the side of a mountain?
I hate games that assume you should know everything. If you don't play the "INTENDED" way, you have a to restart the game from the beginning to avoid unclear pitfalls that are never communicated properly. Did I mention the UI is meaningless? Am I trying to manage resources or f*ckwad factions? The factions take more screen space than the game itself. F*cking hell.
Frostpunk 1 was measured in days, Frostpunk 2 is measured in weeks and years. 1 was about just living to the next day, this game is about preventing your society from collapsing.
Its suppose to be a difficult game, its limited how difficult it can be if you are able to just ♥♥♥♥ around however you want and still come out on top. Theres not just "1" way to do things, but yes you cant keep doing suboptimal things and expect to win a hard game. If you just want to decorate your city under no pressure then maybe farmville is more the game for you.
