How do I restart a scenario?

In Frostpunk 1 each scenario could be played fresh in a separate difficulty. I am playing on Survivor/IronMan and I made a mistake when playing the second scenario. How do I restart it or do I now need to restart the whole campaign from the prologue?

I know one choice I took in the first scenario affect the second but that seems to be about it. That can't be the reason I can't restart the second scenario can it? I am kinda bummed. The whole game has no simulated (and rarely some faked) people in it and now it forces me to replay the first (boring) scenario? mehhh

There are no 'scenarios' here. There are chapters in a story, which is not the same thing. Restarting a scenario in FP1 is the same as starting from the Prologue here.

I would suggest not playing on IronMan and making saves, the point of playing on IronMan is to disallow yourself from redoing things in case of mistakes.

In Frostpunk 1 this was the way to unlock special achievements. Now it is just a way to punish myself, is that right?

What I m saying is: there is nothing to gain from Survival mode, is there?

Every scenario makes an autosave right when it starts. Can reload to that if you mess up but no you cannot restart a scenario with a new difficulty. Are stuck with what you started with.

Mmhh, I think you missed the part where i was saying i m playing on ironman (survivor) mode. I dont wanna start with a new difficulty. i wanna restart the last scenario with the same difficulty. I cant.

I now restarted on highest difficulty without survivor mode because that mode is pointless. Sad. I wish I had known before.
