IMPORTANT: Frostpunk 2 Technical Issues Reports
Dear Frostpunk 2 Community,

We appreciate your enthusiasm and engagement with Frostpunk 2 during this Advanced Access period.
We're aware of several technical issues that some players are experiencing and want to address them directly. We’re working really hard to fix those problems asap but we could really use some more data.

Reporting Frostpunk 2 Tech Issues

The Perfect Report:

1) Please, provide an accurate description of the issue.

2) Share your hardware specs. Best way to do it is to attach your DxDiag file (MS Windows). To create a DxDiag file:

- Click on Start / Windows or Search Icon
- Type “DxDiag” and launch DxDiag
- Click on “Save all information”
- Save “Dxdiag.txt” file

3) Attach crash dump or any logs. Those should be found here:
C:\Users\***YOUR USERNAME***\AppData\Local\11bitstudios\Frostpunk2

4) And if the issue is related to save-states, please send us your save file too.
Your saves can be found in the following folders (MS Windows):
- Steam version: C:\Users\***YOUR USERNAME***\AppData\Local\11bitstudios\Frostpunk2\Steam\Saved\
- MS Store version: C:\Users\***YOUR USERNAME***\AppData\Local\11bitstudios\Frostpunk2\MS\Saved\SaveGames
For Mac users - save files can be found here here:
/Users/username/Library/Application Support/11bitstudios/Frostpunk2/MacSteam/Saved

Where to Report These Problems?

To ensure your technical issues are addressed efficiently:

1) Please do not post system logs or error logs directly in the Community Forums - and especially not in the General Discussion. While we appreciate your desire to bring attention to these issues, this particular method is not the most effective for resolving them.

2) Contact our Player Support Team directly using the contact form [b/]HERE[/b] [11bitstudios.com] or by emailing techsupport@11bitstudios.com. This is the fastest and most efficient way to get help.

Current Issues Being Addressed

Our team is actively working on the following:

- Fixing platforms not recognizing save files in offline mode
- Addressing a potential softblock in Chapter 5 by clarifying quest conditions
- UI polish and bug fixing
- Resolving Twitch integration issues
- Correcting localization issues

We're also investigating reports related to gameplay, balance, and stability.
