Good thing we were looking forward to a sequel and not an expansion then.

It is trully astonishing how you people compare the content of a game that just released vs FP1 inlcuding ALL of its DLC that came down the road.

Yeah, FP1 didn't even have an endless mode when it launched. Just the 1 campaign map. People are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crybabies.

Stop being so sensitive. It’s a good game, but I’m sure you’ll see people complain about the lack of content soon enough. Quick question, have you played it?

I made the post so people were aware that it’s different and I still like it despite the changes, but it needs more content, simply put.

Have modern game developrs already trained us to feel completely ok about, that a full price game may seriously be lacking content on launch?

Have they also already trained us to feel completely ok about that they may deliver the missing content over the next few months after launch via a road map?

Please don't speak for all of us, "WE" like you know what everyone wanted, i for once don't like the direction the game took with the new city building way.. it feels way worse.

Just because someone is pointing out an irrational comparison , doesnt mean they are sensitive. Again you typed twice in 4 lines simply that the game "lacks content" without rebuking what I said to you. If you want to have a FAIR comparison you need to compare it with FP1 the first day of release which was with campaign "A New Home" only and no endless mode. Everything else was added later.

Just as it will there. You "forgot" to mention the 3 upcoming DLC ( as said in the deluxe edition description which I assume you already bought).

Finally to answer your quck question I have played prologue and chapter 1.

Just to get this straight and not get my word twisted : I am not saying the content is enough. I am saying that your comparison to the first game makes no sense because it had less content on release.

Right. I’m not typing hundreds of sentences on a Steam Discussion forum. Anyone who boots up the game and completes the campaign anywhere between 6-13 hours will realise I’m right so nothing wrong with a warning! They should wait for this content to release.

Would you rather the game didn't come out until mid 2025 and had double the content? It would still be the same price but we'd have to wait for it. We know there's definitely 3 lots of dlc on the way. I'd rather the game came out now in this form rather than having to wait a year so that people didn't cry as much.

3-4 lines would suffice, but from your 3 total comments its easy to tell that you cannot defend your opinion nor rebuke others :)

My final reply to you is that this isn't a "play once and delete" video game. There is value in replaying and ofc the endless mode which you continue to ignore.

You present it as if right now , all we have is "6-13" hours of a campaign with no replay value. Which is not true and you KNOW it since you have played the game.

Not sure what your agenda is here to be honest but w/e.

in fact I would dare say that there is irony in what you say because you endorsed Space Marine 2 which LITERALLY has content to be released over the course of a year and a much smaller campaign.

So color me intrigued to say the least.

Nope just warning people that the game isn’t entirely the same as the first and it lacks content so best to wait a while. Not hard to understand, but I can fully see why someone like yourself might be having trouble!

Space Marine 2? It has multiplayer, operations and a progression system which provides a fair amount of replayability beyond the six or seven hour campaign (which also had co-op as a feature).

I likely will replay the campaign and get twenty or thirty hours from the game by the way but not everyone will want to do that and I just find it surprising the game didn’t include at least one or two scenarios to do.

Game looks like a dumpster fire with no relation to the first, sorry you threw away your money
Mr_Purple Sep 19, 2024 @ 12:59pm
Are there any alternative scenarios or survival mode? Or it's just continuation of New Home and On The Edge storyline?
