can't launch the game

So I've updated the geforce driver and followed the "basic troubleshooting for crashes"; and the game will not launch and return a crash reporter:

my configuration is as follow (a pretty old config but that should be along the minimum):
-windows 10 (updated to latest update)
-geforce GTX 1050 Ti with 4GB of RAM
-8GB of RAM
-intel Xeon X3470 (that's the one I'm least sure about; but it's 64 bit nontheless)
-SSD drive (I have 12 GB free with the game installed but that shouldn't be a problem)

I'm using the GOG version but I thought I'd get more replies here. Will also ask gog for assistance. (don't know how to do the last suggestion to add "-dx12" with gog

If somebody from the dev team could confirm if this config can run the game or not that would avoid me to waste my time trying to troobleshout this.

proxydx12_x64_Release.dll seems to be part of GoG Galaxy, so it's crashing likely due to this tryng to inject itself into the game.

yeah; ok I found out the issue on the gog forum; it was actually because of the GOG galaxy overlay; I just disabled it and it works. This was indeed fully a gog related issue, I spent an hour trying to figure this out. Now the game runs but besides the poor performance on my machine (which was expected) I have weird graphical glitches on the interface.
