endless game no oil stockpiling
thats rly annoying I dont get why the game doesnt stockpile oil from outposts. I have researched generator for accepting all sources and I put a fuel hub and connected trails. What is the solution

If thats a bug, its the worst bug you can have for such a game that depends on such source.

I'm not sure what you mean. You can absolutely stockpile oil from outposts.

Where are you trying to stockpile it? The colony itself or your main city?

If it's your main city, are you transferring enough oil to have enough to stockpile to begin with?

Where is the fuel hub?

Is your stockpile currently full?

Its connnected to the main city. It doesnt even show that I get any oil, though the outpost's oil depletes. all trails are connected. Stock pile is not full. The icon at the top doesnt even show that I gain or lose oil. I played the story and I do the same thing in the scenarios

In the top right, hover over the colony. There should be a button you can click called "transfer resources". This lets you send oil to your main city.

I'm assuming your talking about a colony that you can go view vs just some spot on the map you man with scout teams. I've seen the oil income readout be weird at colonies where there is no storage. It's just kinda blank. Try making a fuel storage at the colony and see if the problem persists.

said it in the first post, I built a fuel storage hub

Post a screenshot with tooltip from your oil 'gauge' or whatever you call that stuff in the middle top of screen. The information you provided doesn't allow any troubleshooting whatsoever.

Like Perverius said.... there's no way for us to troubleshooting unless we're playing or watching you play. And since you can't stream, pictures will be required.

There's an answer to this. You're missing something. But we can't show you what based only on inference.

Just 1st screen shows you that you get 200 oil from tar pits and you burn is all in generator. You need second adaptive generator upgrade to chose different fuel or just get more oil as you have -485 heat deficiency. In order to stockpile any resource it's consumption must be lower than income.

Oh, it's not from a colony. Yes, you're burning everything that you're getting. The good news is that you have the adaptive generator so if you find coal or more oil you can burn them at the same time.

okay I tried to switch off the generator and see is oil piling, yes it does. It's so unclear whether you get oil or not. NOw I get why reviewers say the UI is bad and u have to guess what is happening. Thanks for help

The fact your heat bar isn't all red is the clarity that you're gathering a heat producing resource, but not enough to cover your heat need, or stockpile resources. *facepalm* :steamsalty::steamsalty::steamsalty::steamsalty:
Like elohel. I get the game changed things up but it's just common sense.

Yea I really dont understand....

I am glad the community is here to help and point out obvious things but like....I'm answering questions like: "How do I put the research center down?" and my answer is helpful (it goes in your building slots which you get by expanding districts), but my answer could also have been: "Just like the very precise tutorial showed you....in the beginning....when you put your very first research center in, which you can read about in the T button tutorial menu...."

I mean it's all here. Everything tells you exactly what they do and if you click, right click, or hover over the right places, there's even more detailed itemized information. All the information you need at the touch of buttons.

I play Oxygen not include and it has million buttons and million more things to consider, but it has a better ui and information management. So dont fanboy me here, how good Frostpunks UI is.

I'll forgive your erroneous assumptions this time, but let's be clear: no one is being a fanboy, and calling me one isn't accurate as I have plenty of complaints and issues with the game. But when a question is easily answered by "The game literally told you 30 minutes ago and is included in a very clear to understand menu that pops up just by hitting the T key?" .... then there's definitely a bit of user error going on here. Don't take your aggression out on ME just because I was agreeing with someone else about how readily available the requisite information is. We are still here helping you out, yes?

So carry on.
