Where are you trying to stockpile it? The colony itself or your main city?
If it's your main city, are you transferring enough oil to have enough to stockpile to begin with?
Where is the fuel hub?
Is your stockpile currently full?
In the top right, hover over the colony. There should be a button you can click called "transfer resources". This lets you send oil to your main city.
There's an answer to this. You're missing something. But we can't show you what based only on inference.

Just 1st screen shows you that you get 200 oil from tar pits and you burn is all in generator. You need second adaptive generator upgrade to chose different fuel or just get more oil as you have -485 heat deficiency. In order to stockpile any resource it's consumption must be lower than income.
Like elohel. I get the game changed things up but it's just common sense.
Yea I really dont understand....
I am glad the community is here to help and point out obvious things but like....I'm answering questions like: "How do I put the research center down?" and my answer is helpful (it goes in your building slots which you get by expanding districts), but my answer could also have been: "Just like the very precise tutorial showed you....in the beginning....when you put your very first research center in, which you can read about in the T button tutorial menu...."
I mean it's all here. Everything tells you exactly what they do and if you click, right click, or hover over the right places, there's even more detailed itemized information. All the information you need at the touch of buttons.
I'll forgive your erroneous assumptions this time, but let's be clear: no one is being a fanboy, and calling me one isn't accurate as I have plenty of complaints and issues with the game. But when a question is easily answered by "The game literally told you 30 minutes ago and is included in a very clear to understand menu that pops up just by hitting the T key?" .... then there's definitely a bit of user error going on here. Don't take your aggression out on ME just because I was agreeing with someone else about how readily available the requisite information is. We are still here helping you out, yes?
So carry on.
