I would like new bigger and more advanced storage buildings.

I wouldn't be opposed to a "warehouse" district that uses 3 tiles for 150-200k storage space.

That was super nice to have. Not sure if it always spawns on Utopia however, since the frostlands become much more randomly generated. I loved that colony though in story mode.

I feel dumb guys in the into level you auto unlock storage building. HOW do you get them in Chapter one? I have no idea I am stuck at 50,000 storage for coal.

In the HUBS section of your build menu. To the right of Districts and Buildings you should see the button for hubs. Inside that menu are all the various hub options, and storage hubs for increasing your stock pile amount are in there. No research required.
