Paid 100$ CAD for the game. I don't regret it.

Frostpunk 1 was a masterpiece of the survival genre, and thoroughly filled an itch I didn't even know I had.

I have faith that frostpunk 2 will be on par, or even better than the first game and as such I am happy to support the developers with a rather...expensive purchase for a game. It'll be cheaper in the long-run anyway rather than paying for 3 individual DLCS, which just like the first game were -very- good, so again I think it's worth the price.

It's not often nowadays I have faith in game studios (or-pre purchase games. Seriously, my only exception was payday 3 and look at where that got me :/) and for the most part stay out of AAA games entirely due to the horrible quality they all seem to have nowadays, and my philosophy was only hardened when Payday 3, the anticipated masterpiece to a sequel fell flat on it's face. (And I was stupid enough to pre-purchase, but got a refund so it was not bad)

pre order is wrong .. you an buy it before release or on release day or wait a while... you are the problem why so many games are insane bad but peeps keep pre ordering good for you

He says, not reading my post lol. Like I said, only other game I pre-ordered (and then refunded) was payday 3 and my god was that a learning experience.

it aint an airport, you dont have to announce your departure, just like you dont have to announce you bought the game.

Figured i'd give some counter clash to people doom-mongering about the quality of the game or think it's too pricey (which is fine, games really shouldn't cost this much ;p)

They have proven to me they put out quality products every time. I have no issue paying for the deluxe edition.

Smaller studios still try. I'm preordering this as well as I'm preorderind "Hollow Knight: Silksong". I just won't preorder any AAA games.
