Restore quest markers?
How do I restore old quest markers? Whenever I get new quest markers, the old ones disappear, even when I reactivate the quest I want to follow.

Are you sure there has been a quest marker to begin with when you re-track an older quest? Because all quests you get from a grave don't have a quest marker. When you forget to mark that spot on your map the corresponsing quest is unaccounted for in your log. This is what we in the business call "bad game design" but nobody brings it to the developer's attention or they just don't give a damn.

Yes, the graves are one annoying thing in this game. If I don't have the items needed, then I skip it, but there is no easy way to save it where you can still see what the items are that you need to find. I tried sticky notes, but then just said screw it and skipped them until they are found again later.

The quest system itself is a bit flakey. Like quests that you complete, but since you didn't have it activated, they stay in the list and don't complete and are stuck in there forever.

I mean the MAIN quests with the gold circles.

Not all objectives from the main quest have a quest marker, because it is not known where you need to go. Finding the temple of a god and following the pink meteors are one of them. You have to explore.

Then why do they even appear at all? With your flimsy explanation and the flimsy "will they/won't they" marker mapping of this game, I'm glad I uninstalled it!

You are welcome. I like wasting my time trying to help rude people.

Yes, these steam forums do kind of suck that way.

I only help when the OP seems to have at least tried a bit to figure it out on their own and don't seem completely brain dead :steamhappy:

At least YOU admitted the quest markers are flakey! The other guy tried to excuse that the quest markers for the god temples weren't supposed to be there to begin with!

Yes, they are flakey, that is for sure.

Late at night right before bed, I sometimes like to give random answers for the heck of it though.
