"Move" option removed from game?

Quick post here. I've noticed a good number of youtube videos where people have two options when they highlight an item. The "E" which is interact (I think)? and "F" to move the item/plant.

I do not have any option to move an item (or plant).

I started a second game after about 2 hours into my first (because I just wanted to start over).
I did notice I had this option at the "very beginning" of the tutorial. After I completed just 1 or 2 tasks in the tutorial, the option disappeared.

My question is, was this option removed at this point? Or is this just a game bug I keep hitting.

It's kind of frustrating not having this, as I'm not learning that some plants don't like being under my oak trees, and some in the sunlight WANT to be in the shade.

Hi Agent, you should be able to move any plant except for the mature large trees and cacti. Which tree(s) are you trying to move? For the large trees, you can also move them when mature, and you would just need to craft the Pearl Ring.

I guess is a bug then. As I stated, I was able to move a couple dead trees during the tutorial, but after I completed the 1st or 2nd task, the option disappeared.

I've not had the "F" move option for anything since.

Also, this screenshot is as of today's patch... where this shows hardly nothing loading in after teleporting back to base. 90% of all the plants I have are missing from this screenshot (the place is literally normally 100% shaded by oak trees)

Moving plants uses the same "slot" as carrying them on your back.

In that screenshot you're carrying a (thorntail) plant on your back, place that down and you should become able to move other plants again.

I was about to come back and post that very finding. Yes, I was able to place the items on the ground and the option is now available again.

So I literally played for 15+ hours with this item in this slot without the game even caring? How strange. haha!

Maybe you could put something in the game to tell the player, "Hey, you need to put that item down before doing something else." :)

You arent the only one who has done that, first time I did it and was about to come here and say something, I just happened to to hit the key and found I was trying to place something.
