How to remove cursed earth?

A wraith attack somehow left a patch of red wasteland dirt near my base. Any idea how to remove that? Pouring water on it didn't help, spade didn't help. Standing on it poisons me and it's just aesthetically annoying. Really annoying if wraiths can do permanent damage and slowly ruin the beauty of my garden

Put a well stone on it. The water caused by those will delete the patches in just a few seconds. After it gets cleaned up you can put the stone back.

There's likely a better solution but I'm early game and this is how I fixed my afk-spot having poison.

You can also move a teal ground fungus to that spot temporarily and it will suck up all the corruption, the move it back to where you had it before.

Adding on to what the other two have said - Blessed Drops from Naia also purify the land, as does a Flame Talisman once you unlock it :)
