how to get the umbrella fan？

i need umbrella fan X5 to create alpine mother,but i can only get the umbrella mushroom.how to cut it and get the fan?

You'll need to deplete the umbrella to 0%. It'll then break and give you a fan :)

I -think- the umbrella also provides protection from the sun while just running around with it.
