How to get Honey?

First of all, if any dev reads this: Thanks for the great work. This game is absolutely fun and enjoyable!

Now the question: Having freed Gleb, i got the extra honey from him. I have some worker bees at home to repair everything as they do.

However, how do I get more Honey? Gleb said something about beehives. Are those locked behind some skill im not aware of? I can't upgrade a worker bee to a queen, neither did I find a tree or something to "promote".

A little hint, and maybe for other players a quest ingame from Gleb, would be helpful :)

As far as I can tell you get the occasional honey from the worker statues. I don't know if there's another way to get any.

The "beehives" Gleb refers to are the Worker Bee Sigils. They should produce honey over time.

That is indeed true and I noticed it a while back after the post :)

For reference, I'm not sure if there's a trick to actually 'energize' the bee sigils, but some of them are functional (taking awhile to make but I presume that's normal) and others are not. Although it might be the ones I brought from the vaults are inactive and don't actually activate, is there a trick to that, or is the only actual way to 'make' honey is to make the active ones with the honey given and play the slow waiting game?

No, the crafted worker bees do to

It is very important to note that ONLY crafted bees produce honey. I wasted a bunch of time bringing all of the bees back from the towers, and they produce nothing.
