What Infern was referring to is the blessed drop that you can use. You can also take a Tarnished Talisman to Naia and she can make it into a Fire Talisman, and you can burn the corruption away.
The blue plant they mention is the Rootbeard Mushroom. Simply plant one near the corruption, and it'll seep away :)
This doesnt seem to be correct.. Or I am missing something..

This is the ground you are saying should be able to be burned away? Or is this something different?
The rootbeard also doesnt appear to make a difference.. I've just put one down for about a minute and see no change.. Will leave it there and go about my thing and return later to see if its made a difference.
