Hi! Im so sorry, but i downloaded what was on the mega file and i dont exactly know where to go from there. I saw that I had to "replace" the luxor file in steamapps, but i tried doing what i think that means but it's not working. Thanks!

You open the file with 7zip or with Winrar, extract the files, and then copy/paste over the original steam installation (optionally, you can rename the original install folder if you wish to keep the original files), wherever it may be located in your system.

Steam support won't do much for these older type games so we have to rely on each other for solutions, sometimes it is hit or miss but it is better than zero support lol. Technically this game should probably be removed (at least from the store front) as it will not work with the files included in the build (as is). I would say report it to Steam as broken via the store page report button, though I am not sure they would actually remove it. But at least there is a workaround for it.

The games should be supported by the developers, not Steam but Mumbo Jumbo or whoever have stopped updating the games. I can confirm from experience however that Luxor 2 also fails to run through Big Fish Games Manager so the problem isn't just with Steam.

Well, the link allowed me to run the game, but I can't get it to run in Full Screen. Choosing Full Screen from the options menu crashes the game. This is making it difficult to play. Moving my mouse pointer off of the game window causes the shooter to stop moving, and clicking outside the game window pauses the game. At the very least, this is making it extremely difficult to shoot at anything near the edge of the screen. Is there any fix for this as well, or am I stuck with it?

The file still looks accessible, copy the link, paste in any browser, and then just add a [.] between the [mega] and [nz].
