Today I am finally ready to share the new direction of the game.

This is the first public information about the goblin tribe setting, and it represents a full reset of the project’s foundation.

Earlier builds contained systems and ideas that pulled the project in too many directions at once. I removed all legacy content and rebuilt the core loop around a tighter, more focused experience that better supports the tone, progression, and themes I want the game to explore.

The new opening centers on the player being taken in by a goblin tribe after being found in a vulnerable state. The tribe is not immediately hostile, but the player is not free either. Care was given, wounds were treated, and now a debt is owed. This creates a grounded starting point that supports survival mechanics, character progression, and long-term relationship development within the tribe.

This setting allows the game to explore themes of obligation, trust-building, personal agency, and gradual stability. It also provides a strong framework for the crafting, request, and progression systems to feel meaningful rather than arbitrary.

Alongside this narrative shift, the project has also fully committed to being an adult game. This decision was not made lightly, but it reflects both the creative direction I enjoy working on and the type of systems I feel motivated to build. Despite ongoing cultural pressure and uncertainty around adult content, removing those elements previously caused development to stall significantly. Returning to this direction has noticeably improved both productivity and clarity of vision.

The adult elements are intended to exist as part of the broader world simulation rather than existing purely for shock value. They support character vulnerability, relationship dynamics, and the overall tone of the setting. The goal is to build something cohesive rather than something purely exploitative.

New core systems now implemented:

• Request Board
A structured task system that provides clear early goals and establishes the tribe’s expectations of the player.

• Starting Story
A new opening sequence introducing the player’s situation, the tribe’s role, and the concept of debt as a progression driver.

• Shop Interaction Loop
Players fulfill requests by providing items through a simple exchange system, forming the economic backbone of early gameplay.

• Workshop Table
The first crafting station has been implemented, allowing players to produce basic goods required to complete requests.

All previous experimental systems and placeholder mechanics have been removed so the game can grow from a stable core instead of continuing to expand in conflicting directions.

This update represents a clean foundation for future systems including deeper crafting progression, expanded character interactions, additional tribe roles, and broader world exploration.
