God of War
Is the Luck stat worth shooting for?
Topic. I've kind of been trading off Defense in favor of Luck in terms of armor and the Talisman (still have Kratos's default +12 Luck pendant equipped 17 hours in), but I dunno how much of a difference Luck makes in getting resources.

Does Luck affect how many Steels n Scales, etc you get? Better runes from tough enemies? Or does it just increase Hacksilver gained?

Thanks for answers in advance guys.

Luck also gives you more experience so you can upgrade Kratos earlier.
It also increases armor perk activation chance.

When you just do your first playthrough of the story, the luck stats really don't make a big difference. A little extra XP and hacksilver is nice, but the rewards are progressive anyway. And no, material rewards are not affected

However, once you reach end-game content (NG+), the scaling of perk activation chances is a game-changer indeed. In return, you could argue that all perks that have a low or medium chance to activate are pointless, unless you can reach decent luck stats.

As for the choice of talismans, do not prioretize stats here. Go with the ones that have active skills that suit your playstyle. E.g. a free reset of your runic cooldowns can be much more enjoyable than some passive effects.
Luck makes me earn 27000 XP per finishing a labour instead of 16000 XP
Yes, it is absolutely worth it.

In fact my biggiest gripe in Niflheim was balancing charms that prioritize resistance to the poison mist and luck stats for better rewards
Totally worth it when you want to grind for resources
