Topic: Who called the World Serpent?

was it ever explained who called the World Serpent when Kratos and Atreus were away? i've beaten the game twice now, once on PS4 and the other on PC, but i still don't know who / what called the World Serpent. was it cut content by chance?

To me its obvious, it has to be baldur, he is the only other person it could be, since he was looking for us, trying to kill us, and later in the game tries to kill the serpent when were inside it, and since he often appears were we heading in game, all adds up

Baldur doesn't know how to speak to the \serpent, so it doesn't make sense for him to call the Serpent.

Only Mirmir and Atreus knows hows to speak to it, i think it makes Atreus time travel theory seems more likely.

I wouldn't rule out Baldur though, we just don't know

I believe Odin would actually have the old tongue knowledge as well, since he drank from the well of knowledge as well as hung himself from Yggdrsail for 9 days to gain knowledge (if you listened to Mimir's tales ;)

It's entirely possible Odin blew the horn.

In Norse mythology, Jörmungandr also known as the Midgard Serpent or World Serpent is a sea serpent and the middle child of Loki and the giantess Angrboða....so it is Atreus Child ;) Fenrir and Hel are also Childs from Atreus / Loki

So, there is no hard confirmation from the game itself or the developers? Most likely a mystery to be solved in Dad of War 2?

My theory is Angrboða - she is the only other being that knows the language, plus Jörmungandr speaks of redwood
