Resolving common issues after updating the game
First of all, if you're having trouble starting the game after an update, sorry about that. While I intend to keep the game as stable as I can, a small fraction of players (<1%) run into issues caused by the Steam updater, which is sadly out of my control.

If you're having any such issue, you'll likely notice the game won't start, or freeze directly after launch. Here's three things you can try to resolve these when the game is closed:

Clearing the Steam download cache:
Steam > Settings > Downloads > Clear downloads cache

Verifying the game file integrity:
Library > Increlution > Properties > Local files > Verify integrity of game files

Clearing the local cache (Windows):
Remove the (hidden) folder: C:/Users/Username/AppData/Roaming/Increlution

All these steps combined should return the game to a "fresh install" state; your save will be recovered through Steam Cloud.

If the game does start, but actions don't run, make sure the game isn't manually paused. You can unpause the game by clicking spacebar, or the red button below the queue.

If these steps did not resolve the issues you are having, please reach out to me and I'll do my best to help you out! For the tech-savvy ones among you, launching the game from the installation folder through command prompt with the parameter: "--enable-logging" provides me with additional information that may help me identify the issue.
