Luxor 3 Updated to V.1.0.2 - Win 7, 8, 8.1 Compatibility

We have just updated the Luxor 3 build to work on newer machines.

Also, the start-up loop has been fixed. Sorry for the short delay, but we had to figure out the root of the problem.

Thanks. I enjoy the Luxor games. I hadn't played Luxor 3 since my 'old' PC croaked around 2 years ago and I received a 'new' computer.

I am trying to run the game on an i3 with intel graphics 4000 and Win7 64bit.

I had that error until I uninstalled the game and installed it on a different harddrive/partition.

Right. Maybe a different directory will suffice.. trying it now.

EDIT: Well, I can't simply install it into another directory because of steam. And I don't have another harddrive. My i3 is NUC, so no more than one flash drive and one externel drive. I don't want to install it on the external drive.

EDIT: I tried installing and launching the game from my external drive. No luck. Still the same error message.

EDIT the third: Now, even on my other system, Win 7 64bit i7 and a nvidia GPU, the game won't start! This gets rediculous. It throws the same error message at me and shuts down the game.

This is quite odd, as we saw no issues on our test machines. MrJ0n42, can you send us an email at [e-mail] and we will be glad to look into this.

Anyone else having these issues???

So, after a few emails back and forth, the luxor support team wasn't able to resolve the issue, yet. They are working on it, though. It seems they are working towards another update.

I keep trying to install this game and every time i download it takes up zero bytes to download and when i try to launch it, i get a message that states "Failed to start game (missing executable)" I'm using a mac by the way. (OSX 10.9.1)

having the same issue as WrongIdentity.
i5-3330 3.0 GTX760 It's a Graphics card driver compatability problem.The native resolution for the game might be unsupported.All of my drivers are up to date. I may try setting my resolution manually to see if that does it. Update-doesnt work setting at 1024x768 manually.

was the last patch also applied to the demo? I have tried the demo on a system with windows 7 and another with 8.1 and neither will work.

Luxor 3 works on Windows 10, but for some reason OBS wouldn't record properly using Game Capture. Any thoughts?
