If you're able to share, does this game feature a lot of those big hubs? Or does it focus more on smaller spaces? That would probably be a pretty good indicator of what my performance (or really anyone with a weak GPU) will look like.
Big area's would "nosedive" for you because of CPU not GPU. Too much overdraw and drawcalls for your cpu to handle. There isn't anywhere in Boneworks that should overload your GPU unless its got sub 5gb vram and you're running on a high texture res setting.
I wouldn't worry at your specs. Just don't max out settings and expect to have below native res for your headset. But hey when you get the game why not experiment with the settings and if it doesn't run well you can always refund.
Ah sorry - I misspoke. It's interesting to hear the specifics on just why a game like this can be kind of demanding on your CPU. I ended up buying the game and performance has been slightly better than what I was seeing in Boneworks, probably due to the more compact environments. Really enjoying it so far and loving the little bits of story sprinkled around on the clipboards - congrats to you and your team on a great launch :-)
