Combat is way more sparse in BL than BW thanks to needing to accommodate the Quest 2. I think 6 out of the 15 campaign levels have zero enemies.
I don't mean to get into it here, but do you think it was worth buying despite these?
But in this case, the oranges aint even ripe.... With practically no SDK kit's, how can you have mods? Or even a Sandbox.. 1 MORE thing...... The intro on BW lasted about 10 mins..... the intro on BL is about 2h and when u finely get out of the Intro, there's nothing to do, least boneworks drops you into action... there's like 10-11 null body on the first "story level" Streets
The game WOULD have been better, if it was written for something OTHER then Quest, limited power and limited space, means limited game play...
Combat is easier because after you acquire stronger avatars, all enemies can be dispatched with one or two good punches, or by straight up grabbing them and smashing them into things. After getting the Heavy, nothing can really stop you.
If you'd be satisfied playing for a maximum of about 15-20 hours based on what's already in the game (I mean going through the campaign and messing around with a lot of the side stuff like the arenas and some of the funner built in maps like the container arena with the void canisters) then sure, it's worth it.
Mod support however is currently quite poor and only allows for "aesthetic" mods - levels (that have no logic, as they do not allow scripts, so essentially sandbox and campaign-style levels only) and avatars. Actual scripted mods are still third party only through an external loader and frankly very few and far between. And of those that exist, most are quite low quality.
