1. Go to the mod.io site and manually download a mod. Then, enter appdata via searching %appdata% on your PC. Now, go into the LocalLow folder, Stress Level Zero, BONELAB, and the mods folder. Put the manual installed mods here.
2. Make a Mod.io account and link it to your game via instructions in one of the 2 Mods menu. One in the BONELAB Hub at the Mods Station, or in Void G114 in the Mods category.
You can also get Code Mods via installing Melonloader according to the steps at this link and using the automated installer: https://melonwiki.xyz/#/
BONELAB is an IL2CPP game, so you need to install dotnet 6.0. You can then go to the location of your BONELAB exe and see a few new folders. Important ones include Mods and Plugins. Mods are where you put in code mods, any auto-updaters going into Plugins. I'd highly reccomend getting Bone Menu and Fusion.
If you want story then play boneworks as it took me 15 hours to beat while bonelab took me 6 hours to beat. If you want mods 100% bonelab as the next game b-side is going back to narrative story telling
