Why wont my arm length change?

No matter what height, weight, size, or other setting I change it literally just will not change my arm length. It always is too short for mine. Is this a bug?

I do desire a solution, my arms are slightly longer than the standard human avatars' arms, and it's minor but it is hard to unsee or not think about

Oh wow, this actually further explains why the climbing system feels so broken, your hands aren't in a 1:1 position. I haven't tested this and no longer have the ability to test it though so who knows.

I just thought about it, maybe using the advanced measurement menu could help mitigate the problem. But that would mean measuring the diameters of most of your body

i did mess with the "wingspan" option and didn't experience any changes as a result. have you given it a try? any luck?

tried wingspan and did not observe any difference i'm lucky though because the strong avatar is weirdly perfect arm length for me

Oh wow okay i fixed this for myself way back but haven't played in ages. For your reference Victortilla, I believe I measured my arms, put in the number, then made sure the thumb crouch had me fully standing. I don't remember all the details but I think it was all a trick of the eye and I just had to trust putting the right measurement in. I think there was a weird interaction with the stick crouch mechanic too...
