Reclamation bin for the first level?

Where is the bin located in the first level? I hauled all my stuff about in a bucket and went into the elevator at the end, only to be dumped in the lobby with all my stuff gone. I'm a bit pissed off to be honest. From what I've learned, you can't store the collector balls in your inventory anymore? I get the idea of physically carrying everything about, but it's a pain to do and limits your mobility to explore.

Oh it's because you have to use a new and totally undocumented mechanic:
When you find an orb you have to tear it apart with both hands.

And yes, countless people lost their collectible the way you did.

It's so strange to me because I couldve sworn there was a sign saying "recycling this way" or something in the first level. I thought that meant it was the same system as boneworks.

the depression when i carried all that stuff with me to an elevator, then the elevator falls and begins loading another level, lost so many orbs...

Oh wtf really? I was wondering what the little arrows were trying to tell me. Guess I have to replay the first level now. XD

I only saw that you had to pull them apart in a review video that probably had early access to the game.. as far as I can remember the only thing that even slightly hints to this mechanic is the 2 extremely faded arrows in either side of the ball yet that explains nothing...

Does anyone else get little text hints that show up on the wrist for like 1 second at an odd angle? I haven't been able to read a single one.

Glad I'm not the only one. I had weapons, cards a toy and all my balls in a big bucket that weighed a ton. It was a whole operation to carry that thing around the entire level. Only for it to mean jack ♥♥♥♥♥.

I could have sworn when I found my first orb it had two arrows pointing away from each other as the "Hint" for what to do...
