disappointed.
I was incredibly hyped for this game, it was one of my most anticipated games of all time, and not just for me, but for a lot of people. The game runs fine but there are so many bugs it’s practically unplayable. First off, loading times. I’m aware I need an SSD but having to go and buy one, just to not spend 15-20 minutes in a loading screen is a hassle. The game is overall just very buggy. Like in the bonelab hub, when your putting the balls into the sockets, they won’t go in for me. Some do, but the last doesn’t. I’ve played some sandbox, and it feels very janky. “This game with change VR forever” is the biggest lie there is. This feels like a tech demo. Not an actual game. This doesn’t feel like Boneworks, it feels worse. Honestly in my personal opinion, I’m going back to Boneworks… atleast until stress level zero fixes their mistakes. Until then, I’m going back to boneworks.

bro how the hell did you launch it? the game legit gets stuck on a grey screen for the loader thing. This game is wack.

Haven't had issues (so far) other then vaulting being janky.

But the idea of Bonelab is to be a gmod for vr so it being early since release it wont have much to show until people mod the game

Been working perfect for me

SSD is mandatory. HDD is so much slower. Yes, the game sucks either way.

HDD will bottleneck performance within games. So if you're paying good money for GPU/CPU/RAM and have an HDD in 2022 you're bottle necking your computer so hard. (Asset streaming)

All that said, it doesn't matter. The game is a buggy mess with the physics and even if they fixed those bugs the level design is leagues worse and gunplay is not improved upon.

If you still have a hdd I worry what the rest of your rig looks like, I'd say there's a reason why it runs bad for you but I can't even get past the character creation portion before it freezes

The game is slow as balls to load on the SSD as well
If he's saying 20 minutes to load on an HDD, I'm not seeing much of a difference on my end.

yeah the game is kinda buggy like climbing ladders is wack but its only been a couple of hours from launch give it some time and i think you'll be supersized to see how much better it is.Also its not a story game its a sandbox so yes its kinda bear bones haha get it BONES like BONElab haha ok but the mods are the vocal point so basically gmod VR.:ujel:

Guys, at the moment its so easy to hype VR Games because, thanks to Mata, not a single good VR game is released since 2,5 years :/. Bone Lab was developed with the mobil Quest in mind, so it was absolutly clear that it can't hold the big hopes on PC.
We are driving since 2,5 years with full pulled handbrake. Hopfuly Sony will chance that next year again and force Meta soon to VR Cloudrendering <3

There is an exact thread for Boneworks that says the same thing. The amount of people calling Boneworks a "tech demo with no story" was crazy. But people are really choosing to misremember the hate Boneworks got. Forgetting the bugs Boneworks had on release.

But you do you...

Yes actually, why do you think its ok for games to launch completely broken? I paid for a full release, not to beta test.

Completely broken? I'm gonna disagree with you so hard there, I've barely had any issues so the game is "So not broken" at least for MY PC..

Which brings me to my POINT.... It's like vaccinations, we can test test and test, but ultimately you gotta jam it in a actual human to know for sure... BL may have been tested and retested, on identical test machines, but the only way to know for sure, is release it, and see wot boils.
