Playstation Controller layout issue.

I bought a PS5 Controller and a Xbox serries X controller and hope this Japanese game will have PS layout since alot of games support Xbox layout. BUT cant find anyway to make it PS layout.

Shouldn't be anything stopping you from using your DS4 or DS5. Bluetooth to the computer using Add Device. You can check on it under Devices and Printers to make sure the inputs work. Go into Steam's controller config and set it up. Should be able to reach Steam's controller config in Big Picture mode easier.

The OP probably meant the in-game buttons input showing up as Xbox and not PS. Most publishers just don't bother with it for some reasons. There will probably be a mod for it later though.

I am surprised that you got your PS Controller working in the first place. I use my PS4 Controller for all kind of games, but SW5 won't recognize it at all. I could use of course tools like DS4, but the point is why is it not natively working like it does with all the other Mosou games?

Someone else with a PS4 Controller having this issue?

lol because pirated games do not support steam API that's why your controller didn't work, even my old PS3 controller is working flawlessly

lol because pirated games do not support steam API that's why your controller didn't work, even my old PS3 controller is working flawlessly

Well bad for the pirated games then? Think that has literally nothing to do with my comment tho, especially assuming I pirated it?

The game has a demo you can download and in this it does not support my Controller, not sure if the full version is any different.

PC games rarely have PS button prompts option. It's sad.

The problem is, the Xbox prompts are pretty much the "reversed Nintendo" prompts.

There's no way someone like me can ever adapt. I grew up playing Super Famicom, GBA, PlayStation, but never had an Xbox in my house (most Asian kids don't even care about the Xbox). When they reversed A&B, and X&Y, telling me on the screen to press them, there's no way I can press the right button.

I think most controller users on PC use an Xbox controller, either official or third-party, so devs just design the controller support for their games based on that standard.

I'm not a game dev, but it sounds like it should be easy for devs to add in a separate set of button icons for PS controllers. I've seen some mods do it for other games with a simple texture swap.

It is not an assumption, you don't have a mouse icon next to your name and the game is only available on Steam. GTFO

I've never been clear on how u can tell who has a certain purchased game. Most times when I'm curious, i see people have their profile on private. That being said, if Fangs right, it's hilarious. But I'm always glad other people like the same stuff I do enough to buy it too.

Last time I checked a demo was for trying out a game before buying. "Silly me" to do exactly that what it is intended for. And while trying out said game, I noticed that my PS Controller is not working and took part in this discussion.

Just curious, can u see a mouse thing on mine? Or is it just game owners who can see the "mouse thing" of other game owners? Or do u have to be inside the steam program to see it? How do u guys tell who's played the demo?
