Why are Nobunaga, and Mituhide the only one's who Age?

Basics on focus story with young age with Nobunaga and Mitsuhide. Same as return characters are young age, too. But, some characters are mid ages. It's always Koei's style.

The most odd thing is probably Ieyasu's eldest son looking older than him, but yeah, if I had to guess it's a matter of them doing it for the two main characters and deciding that it wasn't worth the time/effort to do it for everyone else.

they could have done it with just costume, no need for new moveset like the ones they done with nobunaga and mitsuhide.

and seeing them duplicating moveset, I don't see why they didn't put the effort at all. but eh

I wish they'd have them all grow up into their regular models. It would be jarring for some....but seeing Tadakatsu go from young guy, to a morose, stoic aged warrior would be cool. Seeing Hanzo inherit they scythe from Momo.

But I'd really like to see SW6 just forget 5 ever existed really. Spirit of Sanada is fun. Spirit of Oda is fun. I just don't think the business side of Koei knows why SW fans like their products. Cause they don't seem to get it.

I respectfully disagree. Not looking for an argument just stating I prefer the new style. But I do agree that Ieyasu looking so young late game is funny.

Really, I think Ieyasu and maybe Hideyoshi are the only ones who really need it, but lord does Ieyasu *need* it. I get why Ieyasu's model starts so young, he was barely a teenager at the time, but by Honnoji, he's almost 40. It's really jarring when he battles against his own son.

Meh. SW5 is probably the best one in this franchise. Indeed there needs to be an aged Hideyoshi, and probably Ieyasu as well.

some historical context: When Ieyasu ordered Nobuyasu to perform seppuku, he was 36 yol; However, in 1582, when the Battle of Yamazaki took place, Hideyoshi was 45.
