In answer to your question, probably because the Western game market is trying to cater to straight cis women and appear inoffensive, rather than catering to straight men and actual LGBT women.
Because male gaze is toxic.
1) Players are not men only.
2) How women are represented in games has an impact on real life. Especially when you guys say "yeah, women should be pretty and look like THIS"
