ive never been more disappointed in a golf game
Can you name one that is better than this one. I can..... Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2008.
My 3 click swing meter is a circle, looks like a bullseye, in the center there is 2 grays, a white then a red. The 1st click chooses one of those, the 2nd click at the Top is a little Green spot ( that's the sweet spot ), The 3rd click is a little Green spot at the bottom ( that's the 2nd Sweet spot ), that completes the shot. If your off the sweet spot, the ball may go left or right instead of straight and/or loose yardage.
Is your Game EA Sports PGA TOUR ( Released in 2023 ). - or PGA TOUR 2K23 ? Both are sold in Steam.
Select 3-click in Controls>Swing Input
3-click is really a misnomer, and it is actually hold-click-click isn't it?
Start by holding to set your power, and release at the desired strength. I suggest always aiming for 100%, but a little under is fine (and makes the next two clicks slightly more forgiving). Once you get consistent, going over a few percentage points is fine and you'll be looking to do this on those par fives you want to reach in two, no doubt. But going over 100% reduces the size of the zones giving less margin for error.
After releasing, you click again at the top to set the swing plane, and then again at the bottom to set clubface. When I started I found it very helpful to think of these two clicks as a cadence. Just like you'd say one (release), two, three. There's a slightly audible sound and in your brain you can link these tones to set the cadence and get you in the right spot at the start. One, two, three.
This video talks a little about this. Once you start to get it down it will become second nature and you won't need to think about it.

To MondyRocks: Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 2008 is EA
Sports. - The New EA Sports PGA TOUR (2023) is still not as good as 2008.
very good mention though i might have to beat that one with tiger woods pga tour 2006...i loved going through the career mode in 3 Eras...golden age, 18th century i believe? might be wrong been too long, and then present day (2006 was present obviously)
Personaly i had 0 problems with the 3 click system.
( if you have other joysticks/controllers connected to your pc or flight pedals then maybe try to disconnect them.. In other golfgames such things can create wird issues )
basically I'd be nuts to play on pro and use swing over the 3 click.
thats ok though as the 3 click is pretty nice, not sure wth everyone saying it doesn't work are talking about though.
I think mainly the penalty and strictness of the pro level analog swinging is far worse then pro level speed and range of the 3 click.
Thats why 3 clicker are consider cheater.
