Fittings

Once again, I have suddenly lost all my Fittings. This is at least the 3rd time this has happened...very frustrating. Also, I am losing other Profile Settings when this happens. I wish I knew what causes this to happen. I notice now that I get a "+" sign now when I address my next shot....where did this come from and how do I get rid of it???

I'm afraid this is a regular occurrence.
Player level and money is backed up on the cloud but your clothes and fittings aren't.....

It's been a known problem since release and has never been patched.....there are some long winded solutions like backing up your save from on your pc but you need to find it first.

This has happened to me twice and both times I just repurchased everything as I'd got enough money from playing the tour.
Whatever you do, don't pay real cash for coins....

Try this: go into your windows Documents folder: open My Games, PGA
tour 2K23, Common, then copy the Profile(s) & put them in a new yellow folder on your desktop, & then if you need to use it, copy them from that saved folder & paste them back in the folder you originally copied them from. it will restore all your stuff that the 2K23 Cloud don't save. There is not a Steam Cloud for this game.

I assume you would delete the new profile by pasting the saved one. Great suggestion.

Happened to me last night. I'd upgraded my balls then went to play last night and instead of 3-click swing, I was loaded in with swing path. Then noticed my drives lacked power and sure enough I had lost all club fittings. Regrettably, I didn't get my money back! Started yesterday with 2600 now have 384. Such a pain (first world problem) for an otherwise excellent game.

Folder..... I found 2k locallow but where do you find the profiles???

FIttings! I'm at a complete loss with the "how to" regarding exchange and upgrade. Somehow, I'm at 100/100 with my fittings. Clearly needing some adjustments. I have the following:
Driver => Grip (Purple Epic) Shaft & Head (Blue Rare)
3W => Head & Shaft (Purple Epic). Grip (0)
4W => Head & Shaft (Purple Epic)
Lob, Sand, Gap Wedge => Head & Shaft (Blue Rare) Grip (Purple Epic)
PW => Grip (Purple Epic)

If you select a fitting and exchange it then right click it changes to upgrade. Add three lower fittings to make one upgraded fitting. It will ask you what club to use and what component (grip shaft or head) to use. Then pick what kind of upgrade you want (timing power transition...etc.)

I like power for driver and three wood and timing for the rest. Another good option is to pick transition...you usually get a bump in both power and timing.

You have a setting for each Club that Has 3 dots to select a Fitting for all 3 of those.
Orange are the best.
