Even the low ranks filled with cheating. Cronus & Macros are rampant. I am just low rank but have play enough to see the glitching clubs, glitching swings and the players who score 120 under par in Society matches.
Play career, play with a friend, but stay away from anything to do with online players.

How do you determine that glitched swing animations are due to cheating ? I always thought it had more to do with a bad connection
Which doesn't really make sense. I know about the impossible scores in societies but that would require them to also always score eagle or albatross if they were cheating. This does not happen in ranked

No. glitching is diff.

This is glitching ( when you see the ball go flying & 2 seconds after, you see the Club swing
).

Also: I can't prove - When I take the lead in a Ranked game. & there are 2 holes left. My Swing Meter ( after working just fine the whole Round ), will all of a sudden be all wacko & your shot is all wacko and your now shooting a Bogey. & he now has a chance to beat you.
( I call it a Scrambler, as Lagg hits hard when the meter goes wacko ). ( after that it don't do it again ).

I cant even win a tournament offline on very easy , its the same difficulty as the hardest , the swing and ball goes the same place and its impossible to even hit a straight shot with a mouse and keyboard , i even used a DVD cover and held it 100% straight and firm and still then the ball goes totally off grid , its impossible to play this game without a controller and then it becomes boring and gay , u cant feel the shots like u if u swing with a mouse.

Yeah it's probably just three clickers, they can't shoot poorly (unless you are trying to) so it seems like they hit it perfectly every time, because the game gives it to them

Stop griping about 3-clickers. They aren't cheating .. they are using an approved swing method by the crew who created the game. If you cannot compete using your straight edges and mouse apps perhaps you should consider switching to 3-click also?

Have not been able to experience this But I will never play with swing timing enabled it is way to sensitive and to my opinion destroys the game/no fun anymore... You cant play ranked without Cheating with edging or a hand made gadget to give your mouse a strait line every time so why not let everyone decides for themselves if they want swing timing enabled or disabled

If 3 Click is So Easy, why don't you use it. I find it quite hard to make a Perfect Shot in PRO Level or higher using 3 Click.

I don't play MP unless it's on a real course (in real life). In game I prefer 3-click (rhythm based control) because I find it to be closer to my real world golf game than a clunky mouse motion. I have an advanced swing I have honed over 50 years .. so the only real variation in ball contact comes from rhythm errors. Using a mouse swing of any variety is like learning to swing a club all over again. I'm decades past that.

Keeping a consistent rhythm is easier in a golf game using 3-click than it is in real life, granted .. buts its as close as I can get outside of the competing EA product.

Anytime im close to winning, people just leave the game resulting in a tie. Ranked is pointless
