EXACTLY coming from two other people that also have the game. I have no problem if someone CHOOSES to spend THEIR MONEY THEY EARNED to purchase VC and buy the cosmetic items they desire without waiting THAT IS THEIR CHOICE...something them other two guys will never accept...PAY TO WIN MEANS YOU ARE BUYING SOMETHING NOT AVAILABLE THAT GIVES AN UNFAIR BOOST UNLESS YOU SPEND REAL MONEY TO BUY IT...COSMETIC ITEMS DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT GIVE YOU ANY ADVANTAGE AT ALL ON THE COURSE.
If someone only has enough time to hit a couple of rounds with friends a week due to real life commitments and they would like to spend 20 bucks to get some cosmetic clubs or clothes, im all for it as that is their CHOICE...there is no pay to win or time advantage as you cannot buy levels or stats....
That is what we call pay to win. It's the third time I have to repeat. Being pay to win isn't the issue. Here in that case it's really not a huge deal, but the sole fact it's monetised with the intent to on a full price game is a problem. This sort of stuff shouldn't be there in the first place
Take in mind that full price for this game is very high for the low value it offers. This is why the microtransactions bother me and many other people. Back in games like PGA Tour 2005, the game held a lot more value and customizations than what a 2022 game offers, and there was none of that microtransactions stuff in
Double the money, less than half the time played. I’m not sure I’m the one doing things wrong. Of course, you’re a casual player, despite your hour count, so I guess it doesn’t really matter.
PGA tour 2005 didn’t have micro transactions because it was a ps2/Xbox game and dial up was still a common connection in first world countries. 2k21 was more pay to win than 2k23, yet you keep saying it’s better. Spending 100 dollars on a vc pack still won’t get you anything but apparel and some okay looking clubs, in this title. Spending money on a vc pack in 2k21 got you all the best equipment.
Sure, golf ball sleeves cost vc, but it’s a small increase in performance and a small cost. They’re doing nothing wrong, you’re just extremely salty about micro transactions for absolutely no reason.
No. You buy them with vc, so technically yes, but they offer minimal benefit anyways. If you can’t birdie on pro difficulty with the default ball, orange balls aren’t helping.
Also you still do not understand even if I explained my point quite clearly you are just stuck on the VC and how much stuff costs / effects stuff or not.
I explained my point and now I am done.
There is no point hitting your head into a thick wall that does not even understand what I am saying.
Companies making money bad!
Must kill company
But unlike real golf/golfers who can just go out and play, I have to grind thru a carrer mode to be able to play, much less play at a level of my opponent I am not talking about play to win.
You dont have to grind to play, you can lvl just playing online...i bet you would have spent a lot moree money "just going out and playing" real golf as well. Imagine how those real golfers feel that had to grind out local, regional, and national tours only to finish +10 back of their competition once they reach it...not everyone is a tiger woods.
