it was pretty obvious all this form the preview vids.
so basically user error.
you arent forced to buy anything so complaining about buying something signifies youd like to have something but dont want to pay for it....you can also earn the in game currency to buy anything thru playing the game without paying a dime too *shrugs*
^^
This!
I for sure wont be complaining about not having Malbon branded clothes, or that i cant get 5 color variants of taylor made stealth driver i already have, but thats a choice i made if something comes along that i want i wouldnt have any problem dropping 10 bucks to get it but i wont be mad or scream micro transactions blah blah if i dont spend that 10 dollars *shrugs*
I didn't say I needed those things to enjoy the game, i just stated that the golfing experience has been deliberately made worse in order to push MTs. I still enjoy the game very much, or I woulda refunded it wouldn't I? and if you like sinking 10$ here, 10$ there thats fine, you go right ahead, a lot of other people aren't capable of willing to do that ontop of what the game costs. But you missed my point, all the clothing options and apparel have been dramatically reduced unless you pay money to get them. 2K21 had a good balance of plentyful options aswell as additional things if you want to pay the extra cash.
The sheer amount of customizations has been dramatically reduced compared to the previous tittle which does limit what most players can do as far as customizations go... Its not about having a taylormade shirt or whatever, its about the amount of customizations available to players and what is essentially locked behind a paywall.... hey if you fine with that, thats fine all props to ya! but this game is heavy about RPG and customization, and to see so much of it locked behind MTs, is disappointing to see. The MT's are far more egregious this time around compared to 2k21.
While this is true, there is another thing that is also true and that is that there is nothing stopping them from messing up the game by making it just annoying enough to entice you to get the MTX. OR that they do not tweak up the progression even more down the line when enough people have bought the game and cant refund it.
Don't say it doesn't happen because we know it has happened before.
For me personally its: 3 different editions + bunch of special currency MTX + Denuvo = game instantly going on my ignore list.
Voicing your feedback is an important part of making a game, and this industry as a whole, better.
releases
but the basic gameplay of this game is very good and i do not need more, nothing
to buy xtra is needed.
Not like EA or 2K never ever changed the terms of the agreement or the balance of a game AFTER people purchased it. They're even customary of the fact and if people say nothing - even if a good part stopped buying, it won't ever change. Which is why feedback is important, even if it doesn't reach the intended target.
I don't want more governmental regulation of my games but if corporations don't begin keeping their greed in check, that's what will happen - already happening, actually.
It was also optional for them to put that type of paid content, yet you do not seem to be angry at that?
There is such a thing as leaving a bad taste in someones mouth when you do stuff like this.
Why aren't you complaining that they did not just make a normal game WITHOUT that optional paid content?
The game costs €60.
Then on top of that it has MULTIPLE editions.
AND THEN on top of that it has "optional MTX".
When exactly do you wake up and say "enough is enough"?
When exactly is it enough for you and others to make them stop doing these kind of practices?
Do you just not get it?
I have been playing since C64 days and it is saddening to me to see how games evolved into these abominations.
