lost everything

tech s support hosed my hard drive, and to reinstall everything and lost all settings.....$5000 to get new settings...suck

There should be a pinned warning comment about that on this forum ..... right ?

people need to do manual backup of their save files on the computer regularly , its been warned about in the forums before , but yeah , there should be a pinned post about it so people like you dont lose everything

5th posting of my response for this.

your Profile is not saved on the Steam Cloud, it's saved on the 2K23 Cloud which only saves a partial of it, (hence why you didn't get it back). So, go to your Documents folder & My Game, then PGA TOUR 2K23, then Common, then COPY all profiles in there & put them in a yellow folder on your Desktop & keep it there. In the future if you lose everything again you can paste it back in that folder & your stuff is back.

Copy & replace the Profiles from the Documents & copy them over the older save in the Yellow Desktop Folder to keep it up to date.at least once a week
