I didnt play for several months and came back and all my fittings have been removed, fresh install of the game on another storage device.

2700 just for the irons, with another 1000-1800 for the driver, wood, hybrid and putter. That is essentially my entire career earnings or £25~ in mtx

To stop this in the future go to your Documents. My Games, PGA TOUR 2K23, then Common. Then copy and paste all Profiles to a New Yellow Folder on your desktop. Since this game does not save to Steam Cloud, but to 2K23 cloud instead, which only saves a partial of your Profile. So this time you will have to spend your VC to redo your fittings, but in the future if this happens you copy those saved profiles & paste them over your ones in your Documents folder & all your fittings will be there. PS: you want to recopy those Profiles from time to time and replace them over the ones in the saved yellow folder to keep your Profile backup up to date.

appreciate the advice but im not jumping through hoops, the game is a "single player but must be online game" but that doesnt even aid the player in anyway only hinders and misleads them, im done......... i'll get the next golf game with the other dudes next time or maybe not at all because this is a joke, im not about to grind all that back or spend £25+ on microtransactions, i just wont give custom again.

Would your Documents be held in OneDrive by any chance? I can't see why those files would go away otherwise and that is a common cause of files disappearing after a period of not being used.

why would my currency and fittings be stored in online databases to prevent people modding unlimited fitting currency but the clubs they are fit to which require said currency not be saved online as well.
My fittings are still there but they are no longer equipped to my clubs, to re equip them it would cost around £25 in micro transactions.

I will have to give this a try. This happens whenever I play on a new device and it sucks.
