Anti-Cheat / Reporting System (Cross Platform)
I would like to see the implementation of a better anti-cheat / reporting system:
(at least for the next release of this series)

1) Kernel-Based anti-cheat as well a similar approach for consoles
2) an easy way to just click and report/block a player after/in the round (for console players as well)
3) the possibility to save a replay of all shots in online games (own or opponents)
4) report the player by adding one or multiple replays (see point 3) as a kind of evidence

Maybe a kind of AI will help also to identify and observe suspicious players.
Guess the game engine can deliver a lot of statistics for every player.

I would be very grateful!

Regards

The game has been lacking very basic tools and gameplay elements since basically forever despite being sold at full price on top of season passes. I do not believe they intent or have any incentive to
The best action you can take at least for now for Steam players is to block the account. That should stop them from being matchmaked with you afterwards. I do not believe the same can be done for consoles players

Keep in mind some specific examples that make them look like they are cheating aren't the case. For instance very often you will see the opponent on chipping stance, then the ball goes off 100 yards away. This is because the netcode is horrible and switching swing mode is sometimes desynced. The opponent really was pitching and not chipping. This bug has been present since 2k21

Thanks.

How to block console players?
You can block players, who are linked with a 2K account in game. Guess that works at least.
Blocking steam players in Steam will work not to get matched with them?
And the remaining console players? You can block them for matchmaking? How?

Yeah, i know, that they very often show up a different club for you, as they actually using. As well they show up different wind and distance....guess this is regarding to the different skills the players have activated in the skill tree.

It´s a pity, that a solid game (as a lot of games) are compromised/destroyed by cheaters.

So, it is even more imported to have a decent approach to "fight" them.

I've played the game since The Golf Club 2019 and I personally never encountered any sort of cheating. The closest I could call cheating was back in 2k21 where someone very, very suspicious would always avoid me when matchmaked with after we played a match, then later on noticed his record was pretty much perfect with barely any losses and ties (1 vs 1), which made him very suspicious that he is cherrypicking who he plays with and more than likely muled wins on other accounts

I heard that a ton of cheating is occuring within societies but that's a part of the game I never took part in so I cannot really comment on that matter

The sad reality is unless the anti cheat is invasive, there will always be cheating, which in this case is most likely mouse/joystick macros on top of something nefarious like tricking the game to turn on Pro Vision in matchmaking so you see exactly where the ball lands accounting for the wind, lie etc.

doesn't this game have denuvo?

There is Denuvo anti-cheat and Denuvo DRM. Pretty sure the game only has Denuvo DRM
Which I'm pretty sure explains the poor performances of the game how it stutters often for no reason every time you swing

You are going to turn it into a witch hunt style with this set up
