One is the official 2k society. But that one is full of people who shoot 50 every round
Another is called Good Good Golf
I forget the others at the moment.
Duck Hook is set up the way I like it. Four rounds, no fancy balls, variable weather, ground conditions and pin positions. I've kept un-official courses to a minimum because one of the guys had trouble with one. But I mix them in occasionally. There's room for more if anyone stumbles upon this thread looking for a casual society to compete in. Current event goes until Tuesday at TPC Scotsdale. 100 entry fee, but you'll win some or all of that back if you finish the event.
Only one player in our group needs a lot of help. Unfortunately he has no managed to improve since joining us, and I've given him tips, ways to get the timing down, using different techniques like using the audio cues to establish a cadence, but he continues to struggle. He hasn't made a break through like you have managed, but he has a good attitude and has fun even shooting 100 every round. That's all that matters, and I respect him for keeping at it.
Good luck in the new event. Starts tonight!
