Stuttering all of a sudden.
I've done all the usual things to resolve. Updated graphics driver. Deleted shader cache. Lowered graphics settings but it makes no difference (I have a RTX 3080). Checked for a newer driver for PS5 pad. Uninstalled game and re-installed. But no luck. Any ideas?

Have also 3D bench marked with various apps with no problems found, and all other games are running fine

Is your resolution for desktop the same as what the game is set at?
Also have you tried a resolution that matches your refresh rate?

I used to think most of you that problems was because of win 10 but I just went to win 10 from 7 and the game runs smooth for me on both so keep checking

Do you have other controllers plugged in ?
Do you have background apps running do you have a bandwidth priority setup running?

Run (Win key+R) regedit and find the registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER|Software\2K|PGA TOUR 2K23
Change "Screenmanager Fullscreen mode_h3630240806' from 1 to 0.

You bet. It forces the game to run in exclusive fullscreen mode rather than borderless window which it defaults to. You get better performance, it makes g-sync work properly, and allows you to force v-sync through graphics card drivers. Check the registry setting whenever you update Nvidia drivers and even just occasionally. I have seen it default to 3 instead of 1. This has been around since TGC2019.

When I think back, it did start happening after I installed a new graphics driver. I've been p[laying since the original "Golf Club" game and never had this happen before though. Weird.

This is a Unity engine issue. You can also add "-window-mode exclusive" without the quotes as a launch option in the game's properties in your Steam library. Always launch the game from Steam also.

My game is stuttering extra bad lately too. It's just not playable when it's like this. The above suggestions don't help me.

The suggestion helped me to certain extent, but I still get stuttering when I had no stuttering at all until recently.

Yes, I think my problems started with a driver update also in November. Problem is I've updated again a few times since then but was hasn't fixed the problem, and don't know what driver version I was using before the problems began. Can you post your Nvidia diver version please?

I've lost the last two tournaments due to stuttering. This has become unplayable. I'm go upset right now. 13600K, 7900XT, 32GB ram, SSD install. I've cleared the shader cache and have tried playing a few rounds. It just stutters. I feel like someone is standing behind me, bumping my arms right when I'm swinging.
