2k23 unattaching club fittings and reset to default settings
For the second time in a week my settings have been reset to default conditions and all of my club fittings were unattached. I have spent the past week using up all of my coins for fitting fees and it has happened again. What is going on here and is there any way to recover my loss?

This is totally balls with these fees. I understand paying a fee to unlock use of a new one, but if I choose to swap a part for something else, then decide I prefer the first one, I should NOT have to pay to have that fit again. It just eats up a ridiculous amount, and I didn't even realise it until I ran out suddenly. Why on earth have they done that? Are we supposed to buy virtual currency each time we decide to swap club fittings we already used before? C'mon.....

As long as the children are willing to pump quarters into the machine, the machine won't change.

That's unfortunate... I actually thought this version might be better than 2k21, but looks like it fails miserably in this area :|
Not this time.
BUT: there is this:
To stop this in the future go to your Documents. My Games, PGA TOUR 2K23, then Common. Then copy and paste all Profiles to a New Yellow Folder on your desktop. Since this game does not save to Steam Cloud, but to 2K23 cloud instead, which only saves a partial of your Profile. So this time you will have to spend your VC to redo your fittings, but in the future if this happens you copy those saved profiles & paste them over your ones in your Documents folder & all your fittings will be there. PS: you want to recopy those Profiles from time to time and replace them over the ones in the saved yellow folder to keep your Profile backup up to date.

Once you Pay for a Club Fitting. It's yours.

It's the Ball Sleeves that cost & Run Out.

I knew about the balls, but it seems even swapping heads/shaft/grips does it for me. I got a new one the other night, fit it, and then decide next match to go back to the previous one, and it charged me to fit it again
