why when playing with a friend online the game always stops after so many holes all the time.

We regularly play in a four (or used to) but one of my friends always used to get disconnected, it was so bad we never completed a full 18 with him in the party.

We went back to 2K21 and had no problem at all.......very weird indeed....

The same thing is happening on the ps4 and ps5. Everytime i play my friends online, the game always freezes. This is so frustrating! Fix this game 2k and HB Studios! This should have been fixed a long time ago!

Very strange, we play every week with another successful 4 player 9 hole $3,600 skin game today with no issues, then a $10 9 hole game right after with no issues and no disconnects....something is working for those in the discords i play in, so not sure...if you have 1 friend that keeps getting disconnected and its something on their end for some reason that is not affecting your and the other friends game....patches do affect different users in different ways with all games so who knows what it did this last update that might be messing his game up and not others.

I would quit golf if I had to go back to 21 even though I have so much money in the bank there I cant spend it...such a basic arcade game compared to 23.

the game only lets you play a short time when playing with a friend and then it stops steam says the game is good but that is crap.

I play this golf game with a friend regularly. Indeed, I played with that friend today. He lives about 1,000 miles away.

After playing the game with him MANY times, the game has only glitched out once. Every other time it's worked fine.

Every once in awhile, the internet lags. It's NOT a big problem, for me and my friend, at least.

This game rocks. It is a wonderful game. It should get a million positive reviews.

I'm from the UK and I regularly play my American buddy (we probably play 5 times a week and have 8 to 10 rounds).

The game regularly glitches, forcing us both to Alt F4, as it's just there, with the camera panning around and doing nothing.
Occasionally it will just kick one of us out.

A mate from the UK, has never been able to complete a round online.
He always gets kicked out, during the round.
The furthest he's got is hole 16.

If it wasn't for this, then I'd agree with you as none of us have ever had a problem, in single player mode.

I will say one thing though, using official courses seems to be more stable, when playing online, from my experience.

Great stuff mate.
It works good for me probably 80% of the time.

It's a complete mystery why my one friend can't complete a round.
Tried again today and he was disconnected on hole 12.....

and steam say the game is bug free when you get in contact with them.

Getting same problem here with steam friend. We can only get to 4 or 5 holes and game freezes. Must be server problem. Need fix please

Getting the same problem with two Australian players.

It's a crying shame, the game is otherwise the best of the pga games so far. Seems there's still a long way to go on the road of improvements...and we are the suckers paying for it.

We get the same prob, four of us try to play now and then just to see if we can, we used to play often with no issues, now it either kicks a player or freezes with different screen pics, three of us are in the UK and one in France, it is a shame we can no longer play a full round, we were getting quite competitive with each other.
