Golf is fun regardless of whether you’re playing solo or with a group of friends, but it's definitely a thrill when bragging rights are on the line. PGA TOUR 2K23 offers several exhilarating multiplayer modes to choose from, with endless hours of friendly competition. Until now, multiplayer was limited to the same platform, but we’re excited to share that crossplay is now available!

Via the latest patch update, players can now tee off against one another via crossplay in Private Matches, Casual Matchmaking, and Ranked Matchmaking. Supported platforms include PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). By default, crossplay is always on for PC, but can be disabled on Xbox by checking the system settings, and can be toggled on and off in-game on PlayStation. On PlayStation®5 and PlayStation®4 crossplay is defaulted to off, so players will need to go to Settings and then Social to toggle it on. It’s time to show your friends who has the longest drives and the best approach shots.

Proving to your friends that you’re the best golfer is one thing, but do you think you’ve got what it takes to be the best in the world? If so, head over to Ranked Matchmaking where you can join competitive rounds and climb experience tiers. Ranked play is broken down into six tiers with three divisions in five of the six tiers, with each tier having a unique icon and color to differentiate what rank you are.

Across all Ranked matches, Solo and Duo, players will compete with Pro difficulty turned on and be limited to their MyPLAYER creation. It’s worth noting that Duos are Alternate Shot, while Solo is regular match play. You can see how you measure up against other players by checking the dedicated Solo and Duo leaderboards.

I see crossplay is out how to I add people on xbox to a multiplayer game?

Why can we not get a cross platform game? I want to play with my Xbox friends without them having to build a PC. I don't think its too much to ask for and will bring in more money for the game if everyone can play together, Please add this in the new game at least or I wont buy anymore PGA games.

Shouldn't be worried about crossplay till we can actually make it through 18 holes online without dropping or someone freezing.

I play with the same small group of friends on PC. Have had no connection isssues until today after the patch. Game froze and we had to restart 3 times before the 3rd hole. Seems they fix one thing and break another.

It's been like this for me and my friends basically since the game came out. Depending on the week one of us will continuously freeze or drop in the middle of a game. We've even had one of us get disconnected in the middle of a putt finishing 18. It's a bunch of BS, we can't even play anymore.

My career mode constantly freezes, played two rounds of a society tournament without issues, went back to career and the game froze twice trying to get through one hole. Never had any problems until the update before this one.
