PGA TOUR 2K23 General Discussion, Opinions and Reviews

There is one YouTube guy, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9k_WOjcpVe8 who claims that multi-platform cross-play (including Steam versions of 2K23) has already been announced by 2K. This will be available according to him at some point (undisclosed) in the future. Curiously, this is the only mention of this so far. Could it be that 2K has picked this one person on all of the internet to be the bearer of this news? Personally, I am only interested in 2K23 if it available for multi-platform cross-play because 2k21 suffers so badly from a lack of Steam players that many of the real-time game-play formats are unavailable. Until this is formally confirmed, I will not purchase 2K23 on Steam.

Indeed.
The best golf game I have ever played is a little known gem called British Open Championship Golf. The AI put this game and EA golf games to shame. It was stunning and way ahead of its time.

I go back further. Best game was Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004/2005 before all the enhnaced clubs etc came out. Everyone played off a level footing. You could play a brand new course every other day before people mapped it out..set strong winds , gusty winds Still winds fast greens slow greens and ask others to join..which they did and 4 balls were regular. There was no grid on the greens and if you hit 5 under you were a genius. I see EGT golf there's dozens on leaderboards hitting 51 for 18 holes.thats just sad..the world record in real gold is 58 and they call their game realistic DUH!!!

Ooops. Anyone on console needs to turn off crossplay with PC. The pc version will be full of cheats just as previous versions of this game have been.

British Open Championship Golf is from 1997 and has AI thats in a different class to any TW game. It goes without saying that the AI from a 1997 golf game is light years ahead of pga tour 23.

It's worth getting if you don't have 2k21. There's not much to justify the price tag if you do have that game, however. Any gameplay and graphics improvements are minimal, and there's actually far less customisation options for your golfer. No chance of creating a player who looks anything like you.

Can someone help me? I can't play online features. Game tells me to reconnect from main menu. I've tried everything but no go. Please help me. Thank you.

do you have to have internet connection to do career mode like 2k21 or did they scrap that? and also i heard the lady golfers compete with the men in the career mode too? can you opt to not have that? cuz thats a big immersion breaker since that is not realistic at all

You need a Internet Connection to play the Career Mode. Your second question.. IDK :D

Hello, since I loaded this game on my PC (windows 11) I could not make a complete game because this game crashes randomly. Should I give up this game?

Maybe if your game wasn't $80 CDN you would get some players interested??? How many times are we supposed to buy the same game? Its not like much changes. You have most of the work done and have for years. Is it really going to cost $80 every year? Seems greedy to me. You only have 2000 players online, when some of these games have hundreds of thousands.

You are doing this WRONG! Cut the price by half, and put a sale on top. Then everyone will play golf again. Then in 6 months, put out a $20 small expansion with a couple courses. Keeps everyone around.

having heaps of trouble getting my mouse to swing correctly and give me straight shots. no matter what i do regarding changing DPI settings and Mouse sensitivity in the game, it just does not give me true shots. My swing motion is pretty consistent but for some reason the shots are erratic.
