+ Love the added difficulty at the higher levels vs 2k21
+ Generally plays a more realistic game of golf than previous versions
+ Progression system for myplayer, and the ability to carve your own type of golfer...not as deep as I would want, but it's a start
+ Playable pros
+ Topgolf
- Couple of bugs here and there...nothing major so far
- Some things such as unlockables seem to be a bit behind a pay wall-golf sleeves for example
- The swing meter...still not sure about that change
- Visually, I can understand people saying that it looks worse than 2k21.....game needs some aliasing and anisotropic filtering fixes. The TAA method is more jagged than before, and the textures fade more quickly in this new version.
All in all, i'm generally enjoying it so far...there's a better game than 2k21 buried in it somewhere...just needs some more patches to bring it to life
I'm also enjoying the archetypes and the way you can boost clubs stats with new shafts etc.
Early days but it's good.
Having said all of that they could have updated 2k21 to this level, but these game companies never do that do they, just like EA with all their franchises, offering a slight upgrade every year and people still buy em....
